Experiencing error using Firefox to manage Pandora/DMX box
With the latest version of Firefox, I now experience the following error code when attempting to connect to the web-based controller for DMX hardware boxes used to run Pandora for Business: sec_error_extension_value_invalid
Previously, Firefox would provide a security certificate invalid warning with the option to proceed; by opting to proceed, the hardware login page would next be loaded. Now, the error is received and the opt to proceed page never loads.
Firefox can still access other hardware devices with web-based (Routers, WAPs, etc) with the normal certficate invalid warnings, which suggests the problem may be partially or fully an issue with the firmware of the DMX/Pandora box (I have not yet had the opportunity to see if there is a firmware update for the hardware which might address the issue).
Current versions of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari will load the hardware login page after confirming to proceed after a certificate invalid warning.

It appears the issue has been resolved in Firefox version 33.1.

There was an update to the Firefox certificate manager that may be causing ocsp verification failure. The excitement about this change was announced here: https://blog.mozilla.org/security/201.../.
This also may be this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1044441 or https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1045973
cert to v3 solved it for one of the users, but if you are not affected by these bugs, we would be happy to further investigate.
I read about this new code but there is no fix, what gives? Needless to say this could be causing all these problems with the security certificates and constant no being able to get youtube and paragon as well as other sites that are now not working with the latest two upgrades. Even firefox help page is saying its certificate is not trusted and there is no way around that either.

No there was no fix in 33.1 that was where all these problems stemmed from. At the moment I cannot get into Pandora, Youtube, Gmail, Firefox help in the correct format, any of my city libraries that I had no trouble with before, (no lists, download of books, holds, etc.) the persona tab no longer works it us just there as a ghost, Foxtabs, plus so many other problems I cannot remember them all. Most of all almost every certificate is coming up untrusted get me outta here! and there is no technical place many times to get the exception to work.....hence the problems with the above mentioned sites. I have downloaded Firefox 34 now, and this is an XP operating system. My laptop is working fine since it is running Windows 7. so it has to have something to do with XP I would think. Please, please help me find a solution to these problems. I would be happy if I could just go back before I was forced into this update. I have reset this once before and that caused me nothing but grief as it wipped out everything and I could not get the customization to work for weeks. Thank you so much, sondheimgypsy@gmail.com
@sondheimgypsy This might be caused by something else. Please consider starting a new tab in order to make sure that you get the troubleshooting you need for this issue, especially if the solution above does not work for you.
