I'm using Nightly latest and since two days the twitch player freezes the "network" (the browser ui still works, about:* loads, but anything else won't load/load forever). I've tested chrome and firefox dev-edition, and there, it doesn't happen.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Note that Nightly builds are unstable alpha version and you may encounter issues using this version. Maybe check out the daily thread on the mozillaZine Builds forum.
