unable to click on icons located on the top portion of firefox screen
I am unable to use my mouse and click on any icons including the slide bar on the right side of the screen while using Firefox Browser. I am able to click on icons that are about 1.5 inches from the top of any screen while using firefox browser. I have used Internet Explorer browser and I do not have problems, so I know it's not my mouse or my computer, but it's Firefox's application which has changed. I need to know how to fix this problem in order to click on valued information.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Well that didn't help solve the problem, I had all of the tabs before and was able to click on them, since firefox upgraded it has be a living hell not being able to click on the items I need to click on. Like I stated before: I use Internet Explorer and the same tabs show up and I'm able to click on these tabs, and when I use Firefox now I'm unable to click on the same icons I was able to click on while using Internet Explorer. I believe that a patch is needed to fix this issue.
