Hi -

I just updated to Version 16. Is there any way of getting Version 15 back again? I find that the address bar highlighting (which I use frequently) was much better in Version 15 - and also the padlock was easier to find. If I can go back to Version 15 again, please provide me a link.

Thank you, Randy

hey randy, i don't think it's a good idea to downgrade your firefox version for the sake of a slight difference in the user interface. there were several highly critical security vulnerabilities fixed in firefox 16.0.1, so you'd put the integrity of your system and your personal data at risk.

for getting back the old style of the locationbar dropdown results please refer to this instruction by cor-el and for better visibility of a site's identity indicator you could use an addon like the following: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/site-identity-button-colors/

btw. also keep your plugins up to date in order to stay safe: https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/

Hi Madperson:

Thanks for your response to both of my questions. I will take your advice and stay with Firefox 16.0.1.

I will also check out those links that you referenced.
