While typing long NEW e-mail, as the text grows the window moves up and the SEND button disappears below another toolbar at top of screen. How do I send an e-mail when the SEND button is not accessible? I cannot pull the window and send button area down enough to enable the curser to activate it.

There are different ways to do that.. The easiest way is to right click on the element ( I think you said a toolbar at top of screen ) that overlays the send button, select 'Inspect Element' or press 'Q', then click on the down-arrow near the element's name and choosing ' Delete Node ', so the toolbar is gone, and maybe, you can see the submit button now.

Another way is JavaScript... that goes a little hard

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
