upgraded Mozilla, all Adobe applications and Java. I followed all the instructions, took me 4 hours. Now, when I want to watch any type of video, the computer becomes sluggish. I play three games....Wooga's Monster World, Zynga's FarmVille, and Criminal Case. I use Yahoo Messenger during the day to SMS with my husband. When shutting down for the night, I clean out the cache, delete history, and I get an Error window that says : nsAppShell:Event Window did not close properly. A little research tells me that I have TWO applications that are the same, yet I can only find ONE of everything. This is happening on TWO totally different lap-tops. Main lap-top I use is a Dell Latitude D610, the other is an Acer Aspire (which does not tolerate JavaScript, so that is not applicable on that lap-top) Both lap-tops are XP based. The Acer has Word Pro, and a few other programs on it for college (Please do not remove these programs!). The Dell also has Word, but not sure which one.

It's possible that two versions of a program are on your computer. The best way, I think, it to go to the web site of the program owner and download the current version. The full installer. Once you have the download, go to Windows Uninstall Programs option off of the Control Panel. Remove all of the old programs, then install the one you just downloaded.
