Firefox crashes
Firefox will sometimes run fine for hours and if I watch the memory use in task manager, it normally uses 250 MB to 325 MD but then it starts to increase the memory use to anywhere from 2500 MB to even as high as 6000 MB and then it crashes. It seems to sometimes depend on what webpage I am on. I have also not been able to get Flash Player to install properly, it goes through the download and install process with no errors but when I look at the add-ons manager it doesn't show up.
I have done complete uninstalls and re-installs many times of both Firefox and Flash Player but it never does fix the problem.

Do you actually browse for hours on end? If not, closing the browser is not a bad thing. I thought that most of the memory hogging behaviour had been solved ages ago, though.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Do you mean these 2 dlls are causing the problem? I went to the memory fix information and it looks like it is mostly about plugins. The only plugins that show on the add-ons page are OPENH264 Video codec and Adobe Acrobat 11.0.10.32 and they are both disabled. Should I try to replace the nvwgf2um.dll = NVIDIA Compatible D3D10 Driver and msmpeg2vdec.dll = Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder or what do I do about them causing the problem?
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
I have tried all of the suggestions to fix this problem with no success. I appreciate people trying to help. As I am trying to post this message, I have had to restart Firefox five times in about five minutes. When I first start Firefox it uses about 200 MB and then just starts using more memory until it crashes, usually about 500 MB when it stops responding. Sometimes if I don't end the task in Task Manager and watch memory use until it crashes it will go up to 5000 to 6000 MB.
Please post the new crash reports. You can use another browser if you want.

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;

Copy the last 5-7 Recent File Names in the folder. Post the information in the reply box below.

I searched for nvwgf2um.dll and found 4 different versions in 8 different locations.Which ones should I Remove and if I remove them will it disable my monitor? I upgraded the NVIDIA drivers on 1/10/15 but that obviously didn't fix the problem.
One thing that I have found is that if I disable the Speed Dial add-on the memory usage doesn't go crazy and it hasn't crashed since.
One mystery to me is why anytime I go to a site such as You Tube that is supposed to show video I get a message that says I need to install flash player, when I click on install, it shows that it was installed but it never does show up in the add-on manager and video sites will not work.
I have done complete uninstallation and reinstallation of both Firefox and Flash, any ideas about how I can fix that?
