No REAL support, bad community support, bugs that are never fixed. That's why I HATE open source projects. One of them is Firefox.

I believe this bug has been around for years. and solutions like "restart in safe mode" or "clear your cache" are SO useless annoying,

So, I am a programmer. Recently I decided to switch BACK to Firefox when Quantum version was released. Since then NOT EVEN ONE link FROM OUTSIDE apps (Thunderbird, windows apps, store apps) WILL NOT OPEN in FF which is my default browser (unfortunately.)

So, please try to give me some general answer how to fix this and I will be really happy.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.4 with a Full Version Installer
