My automatic forwarded emails don't show the images/html on the email body. It shows a broken image. It does however show when I manually forward an email.
I have set up a message filter to automatically forward emails to my gmail. The images/html that are on the body of the email do not show, it only shows a broken image. It works when I manually forward an email. How can I make the images show ( attachments work all the time) for the automatic forwarded emails.

try changing when the filter executes to "Filter after junk classification" as that waits longer for the message body to fully download before it fires off the filter.
But why are you using Thunderbird to do such a thing? GMail is more than capable of picking up email from any address you give them. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/21289?hl=en
Likewise most mail services has an automatic forwarding service ( yahoo and Outlook.com such a service among the many others. So if setting it up gmail side does not work, investigate if the provider offers a forwarding service that ou can send the mail to gmail.
It appears to me that downloading mail just to forward it and send it up the wire again is a sort of self defeating action. The server side options will also work while Thunderbird is closed for the night or travel.
I use thunderbird for work purposes and it runs 24/7 . I have it forwarding to my gmail account so I can see emails when im out of office. I have it set to "Filter after junk classification" and still cant see images that are on the body of the email. I appreciate the help but if you have more ideas Im all ears
As a Test: Restart computer in 'Safe Mode with Networking' mode. Allow sufficient time for some emails to get auto forwarded. Check auto forwarded emails.
Please report back on results.
