There are no reports starting with BP- . but there have been 26 reports sent since 10/25/2013 to 01/28/2014. That seems a little high in my opinion. So what do I do now?

The crash report comes up AFTER I have closed Firefox, it doesn't just crash during use. I close it with the red x in the upper right corner of window. then the crash report pops up. But it is still a crash report anyhow. How do I stop this from happening?

We can not do anything with a crash report from MS. Only a Firefox crash ID (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx) can possibly give some clues about its cause.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.

  • You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website, or open the crash reports page via "Help > Troubleshooting Information".

u update ur firefox browser . firefox browser 27 is available

Updated to 27.0 and the first time I closed the browser, up pops the crash report. No new "BP-" reports to submit. So what is wrong with this browser? I can go back to IE or Chrome, so please fix this problem.!

Unfortunately the linked crash report has an [@ EMPTY] signature or are not available, so there is no data available that would make it possible to tell something about the cause of the crash.

Do you have submitted crash reports with a "bp-" prefix that show a crashing thread?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Let me get this straight. You want me to download, install update and run ALL these apps. to "see" if there is a problem on my pc? I have 2 antivirus programs on my pc now so adding all those will surely cause a malfunction of the biggest kind. "Do you have submitted crash reports with a "bp-" prefix that show a crashing thread?" Did you read the previous posts I sent in? If you had you would know that there was only one and I sent it to you! If it is "empty" then that is the fault of the program that is suppose to gather that info. Why don't you just admit that you have no idea what is wrong!
