Hi everyone,

I've been having troubles accessing some websites since last week. They used to load perfectly but not anymore.

I tried all tips listed here to no avail https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can

Some of the websites URLs https://gamasutra.com https://osu.ppy.sh/home https://www.investigaction.net/fr/Boycott-liste-des-produits/ https://www.avito.ma https://www.yabiladi.com/

I also don't get a pop-up from these websites asking me anything.

Please help me I'm at a loss :/

I've tried all of the sites that you have linked and they all work fine on my system. Have you tried reading the Secure connection failed and Firefox did not connect support documentation?

It should have the answer to your problem.

Hi, since your a version behind how about this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please pick one or the other as this maybe your issue (or Not) : Adblock Plus 3.1 AdBlocker Ultimate They do both in the same way, get something that works diff like ghostery.

Also : One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tracking-protection

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

What is the exact error message that you get? Is this SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER or something else?

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
  • check the Web Console for more detail about what content is blocked by Tracking Protection
  • "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
