Greetings!

Freshly installed Firefox 77.0.1 is lagging while working with WordPress based sites (I've never installed FF on this particular device (Win10 x64, ASUS + according to Everest hard-drive is completely fine) before, so there's no old settings stored) even if it's the only tab - there's a 4-5 second freeze each time. I don't use any add-ons while using FF here, but when I open the same websites via FF incognito (or Chrome) there's no problem with loading pictures, carousels and other interactive elements. What could be causing such behavior?

I have cleared cache according to Mozilla guidelines + tried other options (and haven't noticed such problem with other platforms), and it seems to me that this lag appears only at WP blogs.

Thanks in advance.

upd: sorry, completely forgot to add examples such as https://ftw.usatoday.com - I have also attached the screen of how it looks, https://blog.ted.com, https://www.ourhomesmagazine.com and others

Unfortunately the problem seems to be general with WP-based sites. I'm not an owner so I can't change these sources, so this instruction is not an option. Though I have checked the list of possible issues. As you can see all blogs I've mentioned have different designs and elements that appear on the front page. I was thinking whether it's the platform itself that is causing the problem or some kind of add-on.

But guess I'm just looking for a needle in a haystack.

Hello I tried the websites on my computer and they all ran fine can you try making a new profile and setting it as default if you need I can attach a video on how to do this. You will have to reinstall your addons aswell as login to your accounts again.

Hope this helps
