Firefox on Android is great, but you can't move your shortcuts, edit the URL for them or sync them with desktop.

Am I missing something? Since it's easy to do this very basic thing that most other browser's have by default?

I can't find an answer to this, and if it's by design, then why? It makes no sense to not have a basic feature like this in a browser.

Hi

Are these the shortcuts that you have added to the Android home screen or the top sites on the Firefox for Android homescreen?

Hi Paul, they are the ones added to the new tab page of Firefox, so I'd say the ”top sites”.

It's not a deal breaker by any means, just seems really silly not to be able to move them.

Hi

It is currently not possible to do this in Firefox for Android but if you want to leave feedback for developers, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

Thanks, but there is no point. They never listen, I've done this before, and things never change with them. Sadly their ability to innovate is poor, hence the smaller market share.

I am thinking of switching browsers, Mozilla just won't change, Firefox still looks like it's boxy and from the mid 2000's.

I have no idea why they won't move with the times and actually listen to their users, it is such a great browser in a lot of aspects.
