I am running Windows Vista and all updates after version 14 has slowed my pc down significantly. This last attempted has really funked it up. I keep getting the start-up repair. When I choose the start-up repair I get the blue screen of death. This is really annoying! I realize I'm using an older and slower version but I would think if you are updating Firefox you would make it compatible with all versions of Windows. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, you make it difficult to locate prior versions.

Does it mention any details on the BSOD about where the crash occurs?
You can also check the event log.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond. I was unable to log on for the past few days. I've been running diagnostics. Of course it's saying it's fine but still freezing for no reason. I have uninstalled the FF 18. Now it didn't load the first time (which I think is what has caused the issues this time). So I loaded it a second. FF is now uninstalled but pc is still freezing. I'm attaching a picture of what the BSOD says. Hopefully it's readable. I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this. At one point on Device manager there was a yellow triangle with ! on Consumer IR Devices. It's now gone. When it first started my clock was showing 3 hrs earlier. Now it's showing 1 hr earlier. This has been going on about 3 days now. There were a bunch of Windows updates that also happened before this issue started. I'm contemplating uninstalling those.
