Help!! How do lock in the font style and type size for email responses.

more options

When responding to an email, the text of my message gets progressively larger with every line of type. When I am through, if I hi lite it and "fix" it by clicking on font and type size, it still leaves spaces between the lines as though the larger font size was still in use. looks very awkward.

Using Yahoo! mail? Another user is reporting the same thing: When composing Yahoo e-mail, fonts get bigger and bigger (unsolved).

If this happens on replies but not new messages you compose from scratch, that could indicate a problem with the "stationery" used by the sender. Do you notice any pattern of problems with certain senders or does it seem to happen for all senders?

I assuming you start new lines using the Enter key. As a workaround, could you try using Shift+Enter? The editor interprets these differently: Enter creates a new HTML paragraph, while Shift+Enter just inserts a line break within the same paragraph. Yahoo might still make font size changes within a single paragraph, but maybe not.
