my downloads won't go to the downloads folder instead it goes somewhere I didn't set it to these applies to rar files
when I download some files in rar form it goes to the temp folder deep in my OS drive. whilst when I download normal files i.e. word, images, videos, etc it goes where either I set it in the settings or where I re-directed it

hello, during download there are two options: save & open - the later of these options will download a file to the temporary folder of the system and open it with an associated application (the OS will clear those files again sometime afterwards).
