How to avoid lexical sorting when exporting FF-bookmarks to IE?

I need to use IE at work and I want to transfer my bookmarks from FF->IE. The export works as such but the structure of them gets ruined. All folders and bookmarks get sorted lexically. I'm almost sure that the problem is the IE side, because the bookmark.htm file being created on export reflects the original structure. As I didn't find any hints to that problem on IE-related sites I hope to get a useful answer here.

Thanks for any assistance. Thomas

You might want to look into Xmarks as a bookmark sync service. However you will need a third party export/importer for help.

@guigs2: Does that mean that such a 3rd-party-exporter is absolutely necessary and that there is no way doing that export directly without losing the bookmarks's structure?

Nope, looks like it works normally, maybe put everything in one folder before exporting. Mine stayed with the same structure.
