Hi, I would like to calculate how much data traffic (bytes) I use during one session (time). Mind you, I'm not talking about connection speed. I guess I have to sum download traffic to upload traffic, but I don't know where I can find this in my Firefox neither in my OS, Linux. Can you help me?

Is this due to using a ISP with a download/upload bandwidth limits?

There is one Extension called "Net Usage item" https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/net-usage-item/ http://netusage.iau5.com/

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

I don't think Firefox keeps aggregate data.

Years ago I had a little Windows utility that totaled up network traffic by application by day. When I search now I don't see that one, but various others. There must be something similar for Linux.
