Anyone know or guess why the comments do not download/accompany the article on my NY Times website? This just started 3(?) days ago. Before that, comments always showed up with the article. I even have an email from NYT with a link to my own comment made earlier; but when the link is clicked, it takes me to the article WITHOUT any comments shown.

When NYT is accessed using Safari, comments are there, as normal.

I tried restart/shutdown, emptying cache, Malware check - all to no avail. Any suggestions to get back 'comments'?

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe one of your privyc-addons is interfering here...

YES, with 'safe mode', the comments appear. I guess the next step is to disable add-ons 1 at a time to see which is the problem.

Thank You, Philipp. apparently, it was the Avast 'ad tracking blocked' function creating the problem.
