Portable firefox multiple profiles, does firefox update also update profiles?
Hello,
When updating firefox portable, does it also correctly update multiple profiles (if there are multiple profiles setup?). I am referring to these 2 methods of creating profiles: A: Multiple profiles setup through ProfileManager, I assume firefox portable updates these profiles correctly B: Multiple profiles setup through creating a folder within "\Data" and then start different .ini corresponding to the profile in
the "\Data" folder.
It is mostly about situation 2B, where I added a folder within "\Data" for example "\Data\ron_development" and then start with a different ini. I would use a script that changes the line in "FirefoxPortable.ini" (ProfileDirectory=ron_development). But when I update firefox portable, does firefox portable "know" there is a profile called "ron_development" and does it update correctly?
Thanks
Firefox portable, version 60, windows 7 64bit

A profile normally gets updated if you start Firefox with this profile. The updater touch a profile directly, only running Firefox with a profile does. So you would have to start Firefox with each of the profiles to ensure that all profiles are updated.

My apologies for the messed up text layout in my above question.
