keep getting a 550: 1.1.1 error
Below is the content of an error message I keep getting when I try to send a message to one particular email address..(I have removed the name and replaced it with "problem recipient".) This only happens to one particular recipient and I end up having to contact him by phone. I have no problem sending messages to all the others in my address book. I've gone through all the help suggestions on the Mozilla site and none were of any help. I've put up with this issue for about a year and a half and I would like to get it finally resolved. I don't understand anything in the content except for the message I wrote at the bottom.
Jim

I think we should take a Snow day Tomorrow. It sounds like the weather gonna be pretty nasty.

Can you send to this contact through the Yahoo webmail site? Or, with a non-Yahoo account in TB? I'll assume you've checked for typos in your address book for this contact, including leading or trailing spaces.
I have my email popped from Yahoo Thunderbird. I'll try sending it from Yahoo and get back to you with the results
I got the same error message from Yahoo mail. Again, this is an issue with only one email address. Up until about a year and a half ago I was able to send messages to this guy. I don't understand what's going on. Jim
If you search on "550: 1.1.1 error" you will find a lot of people with the same problem. Does the recipient read mail with the roadrunner account or is the roadrunner mail forwarded to another address? Since you've shown the problem is with the address, not with TB, can you confirm the recipient receives mail from other Yahoo senders at the exact same address?
I'll confirm that and get back to you.
