You can prevent a page to override the builtin shortcut by modifying the permissions allowed to that specific page. To do so:

1. Right-click on an empty area of the web page and select View Page Info from the context menu. 2. In the Page Info WIndow, right-click on Permissions 3. Search for Override Keyboard Shortcuts in the list 4. Uncheck Use Default and set the permission to Block
