Rogue Calendar Reminders in Version 78.4.3
Just started today with 78.4.3. A rogue Google calendar reminder from October 4 keeps popping up (it was dismissed when it first came up last month). I delete it in Google calendar, synced, verified it's gone in Thunderbird calendar. Even restarted both the program and computer.
The reminder keeps coming back every few minutes. And I keep deleting it.
Any ideas? My thinking was to remove the calendar and add it back in, but wanted to check first.

No replies, so I deleted and recreated the calendar. Issue appears to be gone. Maybe this will help someone else.

The reminder happens whenever the calendar syncs.

Same problem with me, on v78.8 on Linux Mint. Not only me but my invitees as well receive tons of useless reminders of upcoming events but also of past events, days after they have passed. This is totally insane. I can't invite people anymore without becoming (and being flagged as) a spammer.
Any advice and/or solution would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have this problem under Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/78.8.1 with Google Calendar Provider. The calendar I am syncing is also listed as "Momentarily not available", but I can easily sync it and re-add it. Either way it just repeats the same reminders from a recurirng meeting.
I think this needs escalating to a bug report, because I've seen it repeatedly. It's just that it's finally become incurable from my end.
