Since the latest update (to 89.0) my bookmark list literally exploded vertically. Before update the list took a bit more than half the screen size. Somehow the spacing inbetween the entries is now doubled (at least) and the list takes the entire screen and more (the last 4-5 i need to scroll for).

I found no option to adapt the grade of spacing and would like to have it reduced. Since the font size didnt change, there is no reason to expand the list that far. I might be 40+, but still could read as it was before. Whoever had this glorious idea was either bored or paid to annoy the users.

Screenshot attached (have no from before, sadly).

Hey Mozilla. If you're going to increase the vertical spacing on the bookmarks menu, why not give us the option of setting the spacing ourselves? Allow us more customizing options.

You can use code in userChrome.css to override changes in Firefox 89+ with the new Proton design.

The userChrome.css is not working for me. I spent hours and hours trying, tutorials, different settings - nope. It has no effect at all. It really is disappointing, mozilla throwing all the new shiny stuff at the users and on the other hand you cant change some simple, basic settings.

This is really annoying. Not only is it a huge inconvenience, there appears to be no interest in FF to fix the issue or at lease give you some options in the 'Settings' area. Using code in a userChrome.css file is not something that just anyone can do. I'm not slagging on the volunteers here who are very helpful. I am however hoping that someway/somehow the message will get back to the developers that they have made a very bad decision and that we users need a simple way to fix the bookmark spacing which is (now) very UNACCEPTABLE.
