How can I install my Norton Toolbar on Firefox 3.6.18?
I used to have the Norton toolbar but it recently disappeared. I haven't updated Firefox during this time nor did I do anything with my Norton Internet Security 2011. When I right click the existing toolbars, I only get Menu Bar, Navigation Toolbar, Bookmarks Toolbar, and "Customize..." No Norton Toolbar option. What gives?

it disappeared probably because it became incompatible with your Firefox version.
Check it by going to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extension section -> Does your "Norton toolbar (extension)" appear here" ???
If its Greyed then it has been Disabled. Check if you can Enable it by clicking "Enable" button. If you can't enable it then it has become incompatible with your version of Firefox.
Update Firefox to the latest version by going to Help Menu -> About Firefox -> click "Check for Updates" button -> If a newer version is available then download & install it. However don't accidentally download a BETA version since it is not released as an Updated version yet.
Check and tell if it works.
Thanks! I found out that Norton toolbar was disabled. I enabled it and it's on the screen. I didn't want to update Firefox yet because it prevented me from using Norton's auto-login feature. The version I have still compatible with this Norton feature. Any comment?
Its your call.
I have heard that Norton released an update patch for Firefox 5.0 on Tuesday 06-21 when Firefox 5.0 was released. (versus taking their normal six to eight weeks) Some Norton users have reported that the toolbar may not work if the Norton patch was installed before Firefox 5.0, instead if after Firefox 5.0 was already installed.
