Where data are stored ?
Hi I have SD card where i have installed Firefox, i also moved the profile to that SD to be stored there. Are there any other information stored on basic disc C:\ or Temp... when i use firefox / like history, favourites etc?
The target of my question is: I want to move all FF Data to be stored on external SD card - when card is off from Laptop there is no single data left / just shourtcut to firefox (which wont work)

yes, the portable versions will store their entire data in the one folder you're installing it to, so they will leave no traces on the pc.

hello bestplay, the portable version of the browser available at http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable will probably better suit your requirements (those builds are not provided by mozilla directly but a third-party developer).
Nice, i didnt know that so many apps are made as portable Those apps are keeping everything on portable device (like SD), right ? There is no data stored in the main system ?
The situation is like that: my laptop is used by other roommates, i want to put mailbox, web browser (with saved passwords etc..) on portable SD card so noone had access to anything is there, i do there and save there.
The main question is, if i use those portable Apps for Mozilla/Thunderbird on SD card and take it out when i am gone / is there any way someone can restore some private data from laptop? Or 100% things will be on portable SD

great, thank you for help :)
If you would use plugins then it is quite possible that data gets stored elsewhere on the computer.
You can also have security software that keeps track of specific actions.
