Copying and pasting from Microsoft office. Very bad idea.

They produce binary "bits" that go with your mail and drive spam and malware detectors crazy. so they drop the mail as spam or malware in some cases.

Libre Office work somewhat better, their HTML is more just HTML and Less Microsoft proprietary stuff.

So the sort of it is I think your mail is being treated as spam or malware by either the recipients server or anti virus program.

This problem I eventually found seems to be the ISP provider problem --I jumped to the conclusion it was a Thunderbird issue, because after using Thunderbird for many year all of a sudden I found it to be unstable--The worst problem is that when I receive emails-might say you have 3 new emails--they are highlighted at the top and before my very eyes the emails disappear-Had this on 2 computers -on one I eventually found the emails went into old conversations-but now they have just dissapeard (although I can still find the emails on my ISP providers online message service--any ideas
