I recently installed Windows 8 and also installed Firefox 17. Under the security options page I wanted to check the save passwords for sites box, but apparently this option is not available because the wording is not in dark print but rather light print and I'm unable check the box. Can you help?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.
