I just installed new os, downloaded firefox and now when I go to sites I used to freuqntly visi tI'm seeing an odd behavior. New comments people post are not shown on browser restore (i have restore all tabs as startup setting) or when i visit the page. I have to go to the page and hit f5. Is my only option to go to IE and set "Force check for new changes on website everytime?" I was hoping firefox would be completely independent of IE settings.

Im using Win8.1

Thanks man but this shouldn't need an add-on to be fixed. If it's a real problem then firefox code developer should fix it.

You can modify the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency pref on the about:config page.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Thanks cor-el I think that fixed it. Firefox should have a UI for this as it should probably be a common issue no?
