My wife is using a new home page and has been told firefox will not work. I have their list of the problems but have no idea where to put them
Here is the list of problems with firefox claimed by a web designer. I just thought you should know about this.
A lot of people have the same issue. See below. If you can get a solution from Firefox, let me know. Seems the best solution is related to a corruption of the Firefox “mimeTypes.rdf” file located in “C:\Users\YourAccountName\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ffg#####.default”and the solution is to delete it , so it writes a new one.

What is the URL of that "homepage"?
I wonder how viewing a webpage which is set as the user's homepage is related to file upload issue Bugs. Webpages get "downloaded" to the user's PC, not "uploaded" to the user's PC.
Yeah, I'm not really seeing how this list of bugs has to do with a homepage, can you maybe elaborate a bit more on what you are having problems with.
Thank you for the replies.........
I was not clear. My wife's genealogy organization has installed a new site. The list of problems came from the developer of that site. My wife was having problems uploading to that site and the developer told her there were all of these problems. He said that Google Chrome and IE were just dandy but Firefox was full of all these problems. I told her that didn't make any sense and to email them to me and I would pass them on. I have now passed them on and, hopefully, made the problem more understandable (sorry)
I have been using firefox for well over 10 years and have had no problems that haven't been fixed or my errors pointed out. This made me wonder about the new site developer, which is the reason for my posting.
An gyara
Please tell us which website is having that problem with Firefox, so we can check it out.
My wife now tells me that its not yet up <sigh> This being the case I will post the address as soon as she gives it to me. She tells me the only way to get there is to go through their current website. I will try and get all the info and then post it here.
Is that a secure (https) website?
she tells me that one needs permission to open the new site and she doesn't think she can give that permission. I try and not get involved in her business as she gets a bit miffed with me when I try and tell her anything. I tried to explain that nobody can fix anything if they can't check it out. What can I say? (I am trying.....)
