Firefox Crash Report on Exit, Crash Report Fails
Okay, I keep reporting this, but still no response/answer. I PROPERLY exit Firefox (including selecting "Restart Firefox" after an update. I ALWAYS (except in safe mode) get a Crash Report notification. I ALWAYS, send the Crash Report. It ALWAYS Fails (There was a problem sending...). This has been happening for some time now. Is it simply because I am still on XP? Everything else is up to date or disabled And even IF the Crash Report is generated because of being on XP, shouldn't it still go through? I much prefer Firefox to any other browser, but nearly every time there is an update some thing else goes wrong and this started at least 3-4 versions ago or thereabouts. I now have somewhere (maybe?) a couple hundred or so unsent Crash Reports.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Have to get to a computer with a printer to follow instructions. Will check on Shockwave - will report back in a few days.
FYI Because going to help (or now doing most any menu item) opens a new tab which eats up more memory that I don't have and Firefox only returns a tiny portion thereof, I do not check this daily. Will try to be more vigilant.

When I go to plugins it ONLY shows Shockwave Flash - no Director and nothing for Netscape. Was this intended for me?
For some reason, Flash is listed as Shockwave Flash, and Shockwave is listed as Shockwave for Director.

Yeah. I found it in the lower list when I checked if my Add-ons were up to date. Unfortunately after uninstalling and reinstalling, it still says out of date even though it is the latest version - ditto Silverlight.
If the programs website says you are up to date, then you are fine. Don’t worry.
So there are 62 crash reports BEFORE there is one that starts with bp, then another 20 before the next one then it's like every third. I will only paste in the bp ones, but thought I'd point it out. Also - why is it always a problem sending it? Dated 12/10/2014!: bp-ed516bb5-fe16-40e3-9bee-468202141211 Dated 9/11/2013!: bp-4c45a200-af81-4849-9d6c-27c712130911 Dated 2/13/13: bp-40e17d46-be26-407c-9de1-6d4b62130214 Dated 7/28/12: bp-31c64ba2-f790-4fc0-9472-82dbf2120728 bp-eb2476c7-2309-4cd0-8977-cba162120728 Dated 2/26/12: bp-27d49b4f-2d0c-4443-a25f-de52f2120226

I don't see how these will help as they predate the constant problem (and as far as I know WERE sent. In case they are of any help, here are the last ten most recent: 1fce1473-e88e-4895-827d-38361b970e25 4/27/2016 7:13 PM 8cd54978-8552-4cc7-8d01-775c95d62cb0 4/21/2016 8:07 PM 90c117c9-2c11-49b4-81c4-857e3c6b1af6 4/14/2016 6:37 PM 8ea6581e-2c04-4ee3-9c89-5c0a65126e45 4/11/2016 3:52 PM 3bb6f591-de6a-4ef2-955f-008aeed097f6 4/5/2016 5:00 PM 77239f57-a8ed-4822-9f06-e9787500e917 4/1/2016 7:41 PM 32deb24d-d6c9-49a5-8b94-26e6ab7eb757 3/30/2016 4:33 PM f19927b8-bb55-4584-a306-09faa6c44bb3 3/26/2016 12:05 AM 45acb580-501c-46cd-8d95-906d4a5674b9 3/20/2016 8:07 AM 1736f0e4-976a-412d-9786-bbcab3d889cf 3/12/2016 12:17 AM Thank you.
Only crash reports from the current Firefox release are useful.
If a line on the about:crashes page doesn't start with "bp-" then click the line to submit the report and the link will be updated and gets a "bp-" prefix if the report is submitted successfully. Please do not add the "bp-" prefix yourself.
Those reports are very old and might not help out now.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them. But only the reports that are less then one week old.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
After you have done the above, at the top of the crashes page is a button; Remove All Reports. Please press it.

I don't understand. I did the about crashes and posted my results. I did NOT add or remove any bp or other prefix - what I posted is what I got. You now want me to send them somehow, but I don't get this. In about:crashes, I clicked the first report, it gave a listing and I clicked on the support button, it gave a lot of answers about Badgekit - which I am wholly unfamiliar with, and a thread called "Firefox 44.0 crashes in Windows XP SP3 and may cause Windows to crash" which sounds much like my issue. The chosen solution was to run Firefox ESR. What is it? Would it help? Why are my reports not going through, and why are there far less crash reports than I was shown and tried to send. This is making my head hurt.
I think what you saw was the crash report. Don't worry about it. One needs to know how to read the report to understand it.
Continue to send the reports for the last week. If the report gets displayed, go back to about:crashes, and continue.
Once you are done sending, mark and copy the most recent 10 reports and post it here.

I don't get what you are asking and/or want. I listed the error reports above. I did not alter what was shown in any way. there are less listed than I attempted to send - I always click SEND when I get a Crash Reporter pop-up. As stated in my initial post I have been getting an error message that the report did not go through after every single one.
After my recent answers above, I again exited properly, and again, got Crash Reporter, it again told me there was a problem sending my report, but now upon re-booting (clearing cache and cookies via Ccleaner too), it shows two (2) new reports. They are: bp-ef85eb05-3bfe-48f3-9121-3e7c92160501 4/30/2016 7:46 PM bp-e7bf980a-2046-4806-bd45-b31912160501 4/30/2016 7:38 PM Oddly, I exited at approx. 12:05 AM May 1, not earlier as tagged, so clearly this whole thing is f'ed.

Are you using Nightly?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
Who or what is Sumo and Nightly? I have done safe mode and most times it closes okay, so I checked all my plug-ins and add-ons as directed and it did not help. Now you want me to start my computer AND Firefox in safe mode and visit what? Why? How will this help? Plus you keep saying to send the reports - WTF?!? My problem is that the reports FAIL - this is partly the reason for the question!

Sumo's are others like me that help users.
Nightly is another program

It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.
I never did anything with Nightly. I have 3 add-ons will try disabling. But my part of my initial question(s) still have not been answered. Why do my reports fail? How am I to send them if they fail?
So I did the Add-ons thing. The reason it takes so long for me to respond to these is that re-booting takes like 20 minutes or more, so I am reluctant to do it in the middle of other things I have going on. Re-starts however, are quicker, so after disabling my Add-ons 1 by 1 (I only have 3), I MAY have found the culprit. I first disabled a shopping points add-on, then my Auto-fill forms add-on (written by a Firefox developer). And now, even though it is only about 5 minutes later, I cannot remember if I disabled AdBlock Plus or not. Whatever. After disabling, the problem appeared to have stopped. so I re-abled (if that's a word) them again 1 by 1, and I still don't seem to have the crash report appear (even after being sure to activate and use them all), but I would like to give it a day or two to be sure, and again, it still doesn't answer the Crash Report failure problem.
