I did not synch Firefox with anything. I do not want it to be. But I am starting to think the reason I see everything in Chrome what I see in Firefox, like sites, and bookmarks whatever, I think that is what is happening. I really just don't want that. If I did not synch - and I did not -- how to undo what someone else might have done?

My notebook was hacked last year and among the things screwed up was my OUtlook, now maybe the browser.
Still finding problems.

thanks, ginahere

To sync bookmarks or any other material you need to be logged in to Google account on both Chrome and Firefox. Additionally, have both of the browser's settings set to synchronize all of the information. You can select what to sync by going to Settings and selecting your profile in the browser. Should give you a list of everything that can be synchronized. If you don't want anything to be synced, you can deselect everything. If you don't want any information transferred at all, I recommend logging off. Additionally, you can clear your cookies to remove saved passwords.

Regarding your previous issue of getting hacked. I recommend being extra careful with links and files you are downloading. Be aware of what you are browsing. Good luck!
