If you have one, you might have others, so scanning would be a good idea. Numerous useful tools listed here: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

To Fred McD: There doesn't seem to be a specific button clearly stating "Reset Firefox," I see "refresh," but nothing stating reset. Actually Tom's directions are rather vague as far as clicking on a bunch of buttons I require 100% clear and concise instructions thanks anyway

Hi pricejc502003, what have you checked so far?

One possible culprit would be an extension. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.

Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable -- slide the blue switch -- or remove using the ••• menu button.

Any improvement?

Hi pricejc502003

Yup, you caught a small typo! Well spotted! It's now called "Refresh Firefox" not "Reset Firefox", more info: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

To those that offered help thank you, however nothing seems to work. I realize now that I'm going to have to go deep down inside my computer's registry and manually delete this Trovi thing it's the only way or completely remove firefox and go back to Outlook sorry, but that's always how things seem to work with comps.
