I'm using Firefox version 3.6.10. Upon installation (repeatedly installed and uninstalled), I never received any prompts to create a secret phrase. I then select Tools/Sync/Preferences to manage the Firefox Sync Account. I select Manage Account and I see View Quota, Change Password, My Sync Key, Reset Sync and Stop Using This Account. There is no option to edit or create a secret phrase. Please help! I don't know where else to look or what else to do. Thanks!!

They've updated Firefox Sync and the Secret Phrase is now called your Sync Key. To make sure everything works, update your Sync add-on to version 1.5 and update Firefox Home to the latest version (1.0.3).
