laptop does not synch up with desktop
set my desktop to synch 12+ hours ago. one hour ago, tried synching my laptop to the stored data. some of the add-ons appear to have transfered but no bookmark or scrapbook data. does the scrapbook, of which i have a few hundred MB of data stored on my hard drive, upload from my desktop then, when synching to my laptop, download to that hard drive? same question about the several thousand bookmarks I have on the desktop. the desktop is Win 7, laptop is Win 8.1 (modified to mimic Win 7) both machines have the latest Firefox version & updates. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use Scrapbook. I just installed it, saved one "scrap" and don't see a reference in about:config for "sync" of Scrapbook data. I don't think that extension will work with Sync. http://www.xuldev.org/scrapbook/ Please review the 3 Features pages and the Online Tips to see if there is mention of being able to Sync the Scrapbook data. It is up to the extension developer to add the Sync feature to their extension.

2 hour Update: most of the bookmarks and some recent history have transferred over though the start page w/100 sites has not changed and the Scrapbook is still empty. with so much data to transfer, I'm guessing it takes more time. If Scrapbook doesn't make it (probably too much data), guess I can copy the default folders over? (what I was doing before trying Synch)

thank you for the input. already looked up the info before posting and saw the item about individual developer adaptation. will manually transfer the data over and see if it picks it up. again thanks and will list this as solved
