The way it works now: when I type "m." it shows all the recent websites I have accessed. I want to disable that feature completely. I want to explicitly type the url of the websites I visit, without being shown suggestions.

I have done this in firefox for PC, but somehow I cannot do the same for mobile.

Please help me find the correct configuration entry to accomplish this.

Other than this issue, thanks for providing a great browser!

Hi aiWoo5ie

There is no 1 step way to do what you want but the following should do most of what you want:

  1. clear your history and delete your data on exit: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-your-browsing-history-and-other-personal-dat
  2. Turn off search suggestions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-my-default-search-engines-firefox-android#w_turn-on-search-suggestions (tl;dr Tap the Menu button (either below the screen on some devices or at the top right corner of the browser) , then Settings (you may need to tap More first) , Customize, Search. Finally, un-check the Show search suggestions option.

Cheers!
