Hello,

I have Windows 7 virtual machines deployed from a master VM and have GPO push CA certs and as I understand the preference "security.enterprise_root.enabled" if set to "true" will allow Firefox v53 to load those certs however this is not happening. I'm unable to toggle this preference as it's status is "Locked", is is this still experimental or is there another way to do this?

Thanks

hi kutub, if a preference is showing up in about:config as "Locked" the systems administrator has configured firefox that way with a configuration file - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Enterprise_deployment

Hi Philipp,

So I adjusted this and toggled the "security.enterprise_root.enabled" between true/false yet Firefox is still unable to see the CA's. I have also "Refreshed" and tested Firefox with a new profile without success.

What would be the next suggested step to get this working?

Thank you

hm, i'm not really sure if i'm able to further help with that if the setting doesn't work. you could try sending a mail to the https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/enterprise mailing list, where more users/developers familiar with deployment of firefox in an enterprise read along...
