I already have three e-mails set up. When I tried to add a Hotmail, GMX and gmail e-mail account the same thing happened. The set-up wizard seems to find the account and when I select "done" I get an error message "User name or password invalid" and "Configuration could not be verified - Is the user name or password wrong?" I have checked several times that I type the correct details for user name and password. I also know that these are correct since I can use them to access the e-mail account using a browser with the same details. Can anyone help please?

You may have a firewall, or other security software that is preventing a successful connection to the server to confirm your login.

Thanks

I use Windows Defender. I don't know what has changed to cause this to happen (I have three e-mail accounts successfully added to TB and working perfectly). What do I need to do to Defender to fix the problem and will this make my PC more vulnerable?
