Can't download Firefox to an Acer Aspire One w/Windows XP

I am trying to download Firefox to an Acer Aspire One netbook, 1 BG RAM, 144 GB hdd, 1.2 GHz Atom processor. Any ideas?

What happens when you try to download Firefox?

Nothing? A corrupt download? Something else?
