There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. Is your plugin still being updated? If it is, it'll probably be supported soon. If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article Install an older version of Firefox.

I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree; I need specific directions. If I could find the article Installing a previous version of Firefox, maybe that would be all I need. Recipefox is very important to me and I'd like to get it back. Thanks very much for your help.

I clicked on the link for installing a previous version of FF. Found v3.6.24. Downloaded and installed. Still do not have recipefox. Now what? Many thanks for your help.

You will need to install your addon or enable it if it just disable. Find and install add-ons to add features to Firefox will show you how it's done.
