Amazon Cloud Drive page gets stuck on "loading."
When I try to go to my Amazon cloud drive, the page opens but it gets stuck on "Loading" and the drive contents never appear. The page loads fine in IE and Chrome and I'm not having problems with any other websites in Firefox.

Hello JJ76
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
thank you
Thanks ideato,
I gave that a shot and still the same symptoms.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
Thanks Cor-el,
I tried that and it didn't work either. I also then created a second profile and it ran fine. My original profile is really old and I fear I may to dump it and start over.
In your "old" profile try to delete the cookies.sqlite file and any cookies.sqlite-journal files in case cookies are corrupted, see : Remove corrupt cookies file
thanks again
Thanks again ideato,
Tried it twice, still not loading (however, it's a new technique for troubleshooting that I didn't know before, so it wasn't a total loss).
I also had this problem. After several unsuccessful conversations with Amazon tech support (who didn't have a clue!), I finally did the following which solved the problem: go to Help, then restart with add-ons disabled, then restart, and finally select reset Firefox. This is a nuclear solution, but it worked. However, before you do this, take note of all extensions since they will be deleted. I had to reinstall all of them. (Got rid of some I couldn't remove, however, which was an added benefit.) The plug-ins survived. You also will have to go to options and reset all your preferences. Hope this helps.
