I have been using SignupShield with 1-click sign-in which appeared as a tool bar on earlier version of Firefox. Can it be added to the latest version?

I would not know about SignupShield, I assume you can try and see what happens. If the intention is to have easy access to passwords and usernames on pages you are accessing, then why not use Mozilla's own Sync?
