Why did you go to a DOS format for headers and tabs?

This new interface is horrendous!!! Tiny white type on a blue background? You have got to be KIDDING ME. DOS went out in the 70's, people!!! And using white on gray in the search bar?

I tried downloading the add-on to "revert to normal" and instead, I get black type on a very dark gray background.

This new "update" really screwed the proverbial pooch. I am sure if you are 12-years-old you can see the type in the tabs and the stupid white on blue of the menu bar, but for grownups? Not so much. I shouldn't have to get out a magnifying glass to see my tabs.

Is there any way to fix this, or do I simply port all my bookmarks to Chrome and give up on Mozilla all together?

I found that after Firefox v29, a LOT of my settings and
add-ons were changed / reset. Try this; Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General.
Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Then check ALL of your settings. Browser and add-ons. Then restart.
