Cannot print more than one page, print preview only ever gives me a one page option

Print preview only ever show 1 page of 1, never gives multi pages, hence cannot print anything other than a one page item,

float: left or right in the css element that is being rendered for printing will cause this issue, as well as overflow: hidden; overflow: auto; overflow: scroll;
