How do I look at the address of a hyperlink?

In an earlier version of Firefox, if I right-clicked on a hyperlink, I would get a right-click menu that included the Properties item, which, when I click on it, would pop up a window that would give me the URL of the hyperlink, before I clicked on it. I could also copy that URL. I've installed a new version, and that right-click menu is gone, replaced by a lot of FlashGot choices, and also a Save As.. and Save for the link, neither of which actually tell me what the address is..

That contextual menu Properties menu item was removed in Firefox 3.6, so it's been gone for awhile.

This extension restores it:

Install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/drweb-anti-virus-link-checker/

It will not only provide you with the info you're looking for, but also scan the site for malware.

Be aware the onclick JavaScript links won't show the correct URL that way.

Firefox 4 also shows the link at the bottom of the page in a pop-up if you hover a link.
