i need Firefox emailed to me as a download. Using I.E.9 won't download programs through it. Bypass without web browser no problems.
I.E.9 stops working when any software download is manually done through it. message: I.E. has stopped working and needs to restart. However, windows update is o.k. and any program that is already on my computer that updates without a web browzer interface has no problems downloading. This is for a netbook on windows7 starter.

Does IE give you a security notice that you're not allowed to download software, or it just dies?
I suggest asking a friend or colleague to download Firefox to a USB flash drive or CD-R for you. The file is pretty large to email...
