Ever since I installed the 3.6.6 version, I've experienced frequent "hanging" problem which never or hardly occured before. And it has become quite annoying. Should I restore to the older version?

Ever since I installed Firefox 3.6.6, "hanging", which hardly happened before, has become so frequent that it is very annoying. My use habit and pattern has not changed. Should I just re-install the earlier version?

This happened

A few times a week

== It's hard to tell what triggers it. I could be writing a e-mail, or moving to another web site...

I did not encounter the "hang" problem until after I installed the 3.6.6. version, everything else being constant. Does that mean my best option is to reverse to the older version?

The plugin-container.exe might be the problem. Please read this thread:

Without knowing what's causing it, and therefore what options you have, I can't advise whether it's your 'best' option.

Have you investigated whether it's an add-on or a plug-in - particularly Flash? Have you tried safe-mode? Have you tried anything?
