Hi the-edmeister, thank you for your post. I have tried this and found the button to be there as you said but the print preview function does not seem work with Firefox 8. Unless I am doing something wrong. In the add-ons section I could only find print preview button for 0.7.7 this I have installed with above result. Could you have another look for me please to see if there is anything else I can do? Many thanks. Juco

I have the same problem.

I installed "Print/Print Preview" and although the new button (with dropdown) appears, when the print preview option is chosen no preview appears, but instead the print dialog appears.

As I am apparently not the only one which experiences this problem, could anyone let me know if there is or isn't a print preview button for Firefox 8 please. If there isn't I can stop looking. Maybe someone from the Mozilla Foundation could answer this question?

I concur, JUCO. We need a print preview icon button, one that could be put on the Menu Bar and one that would be one click to send you to Page Preview. Why there isn't one is absolutely ridiculous.

Hi Jim97219, thank you for your email. The button does not work, however, I found that by going to File and then selecting Print Preview from the drop down menu works. That way I get a Print Preview. Bit lengthy but it works.

There are two extensions with a Print Preview button. The one I hyperlinked above and an update version of that extension. The original author was very slow at updating the original extension and someone else "adopted" it - so there are two versions of the same extension now, from two different developers.
