problems with rss feeds
For the past few iterations of Firefox, a number of sites that offer RSS feeds that are visible in other browsers, do not show the RSS buttons in firefox. I have to go to other browsers to subscribe to them. Would really prefer not to have to do that. Where are the RSS feeds? Problems I've had with the following sites: www.stayathomechef.com, ohsheglows.com, etc.

The ohsheglows.com website shows a feed item available for me, but the www.stayathomechef.com site doesn't offer a feed in Firefox and in Google Chrome.
Did you place the RSS feed icon on a toolbar?
Otherwise you need to use the Bookmarks Menu to subscribe to a feed.
Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
- View > Toolbars > Customize (press F10 to display the menu bar)
- Right-click empty toolbar area

On the second site you listed, you can subscribe to the RSS feed from the Bookmarks menu. If you prefer to have a toolbar icon, you can find one in the Customize dialog. You can get there using either:
- View menu > Toolbars > Customize
- right-click (or equivalent) and blank area of the tab bar > Customize
Drag the icon to a convenient location and drop it there.
On the first site, I can't figure out where the feed is. ??

Thanks! I didn't even know about the option from the Bookmarks menu. Instead, I worked around it by using the add content from feedly (the reader I'm using). It was just weird, cause I could see the buttons using Safari for both of these sites, but they just aren't there in firefox for me.
