Hi,

I am using Thunderbird Version 31.0 on Windows XP and download my emails from gmx via POP.

Because my internet connection is often very slow I set the option only download the first 20KB of a message.

I am also using filters to move the messages from the inbox to different folders.

The problem is now, when I receive a truncated message in a folder and I click the link to download the rest of the message, I end up with an complete empty message. I figured out, when I repair the folder (folder properties/Repair folder) I get the truncated message again. When I disable the filter and then download the rest of the message everything works fine???

Is this a known bug or exists a workaround?

cheers Hannes

As Pop mail accounts download from server Inbox to Thunderbird Inbox, this seems to work if the email is still in the folder it was originally downloaded to but not if downloaded and moved to another folder. Confirm this and add as part of your comment.
